Revenge is the name of the game

The Royals were 2-0 up at half time when they faced Peterborough in September, however a second half comeback from the Posh saw them win 3-2 as the first signs of cracks started to form in Brendan Rodgers management.

Brian Howard, who is wearing the captains armband in Matt Mills absence, is looking for some revenge this Saturday for that dismal defeat. He told the Reading Post,

‘The second half of the season has been about revenge for us because we didn`t do ourselves justice against a lot of teams. Peterborough were one of those and I know that if we are 2-0 up against them on Saturday we won`t lose the game. We definitely owe them one.’

Howard continued to talk highly of manager Brian McDermott, ‘Ever since Brian McDermott has taken over as manager we’ve had a never-say-die attitude, which, in the long run will do this club the world of good.’
