Less then 24 hours after the first team were beaten by Newcastle, the reserves travelled to Bristol City to face their second string counterparts. They lost the game 1-0 however a number of players will be pleased to get some much needed game time under their belts.

Kalifa Cisse continued his comeback from injury and will come into contention for a start on Saturday due the defensive problems we are facing. Jem Karacan, Hal Robson Kanu and James Henry also featured whilst Scott Davies, back from a loan spell at Yeovil, also got 90 minutes.

Nicholas Bignall and Gunnar Thorvaldsson lead the line with Ben Hamer in goal and the forgotten man, Shaun Cummings, captained the team.
