The injuries to Glen Little has perplexed the club so much that Reading have turned to the internet in an attempt to sort out his Achilles problem.

Having tried almost everything to get Little back in action, the club are now seeking specialist advice from around the globe by venturing into cyberspace as Steve Coppell explained to the media, “He gets so far with his recovery, but no further. It is a real mystery.

“We are scouring the internet and our own resources to find the leading man in the world on Achilles injuries. He is making progress, but it is so painfully slow it is almost unnoticeable.

“It is a big concern for us.”

The frustration Coppell is feeling as the attempts to get Little back to full fitness prove fruitless has already been expressed, so it is hoped that this measure can give some insight into his problem and get him back playing, as he has not played for the club since April.

If it is frustrating for us, god only knows how Little and Coppell must be feeling. All we can do is hope that this measure can finally help?
