Reading Loan Stars Gaining Praise

The three youngsters currently on loan with Bournemouth have received much acclaim, and two of them were playing their first games for the club on Saturday.

Jem Karacan was joined at Bournemouth by reserve teammates James Henry and Alex Pearce at the end of last week, and all three played against Bristol Rovers on Saturday and a man who knows quality, Darren Anderton, liked what he saw and he told the Daily Echo, “They have got that little bit of quality and do the simple things right and I know that’s what it’s all about.

“Sometimes at this level, players try to overdo things instead of doing the simple things. Good players do the simple things well and that’s exactly what they do.”

Henry had a dream start to his loan, scoring both the goals, one in either half including a solo effort and this has led to some newspaper speculation that Tottenham could be preparing a fresh move for him with Martin Jol, when he was in charge, believed to have seen a bid of around £1million turned down already.
