Reading have been linked with Greek forward Dimitris Salpingidis.
Sky Sports has reported that the 30-year old’s representatives are currently in talks with some Premier League sides, with the forward set to leave PAOK this summer due to ongoing contract disputes. It will end his second spell with the club, with the first tenure proving his most successful, scoring 50 goals in 103 games.
Salpingidis is currently with Greece at the European Championships and scored the equaliser in their opening game with Poland on Friday. Stoke, Wigan, Norwich and West Ham are reportedly fighting it out with the Royals for the player who can play either on the wing or in a central forward role.
