Reading will face competition if they want to sign Brighton midfielder Liam Bridcutt, with a host of clubs after him.

According to Sky Sports, the 24-year old is wanted by the recently relegated Reading and QPR, as well as recently promoted Cardiff and Hull. The services of Bridcutt would only be available for around £4 million, with Brighton unlikely to want to lose their key midfielder.

He is a player that Adkins would like, sits deep in midfield and dictates the tempo of the game, with a good range of passing. Bridcutt is from Reading funnily enough, but I doubt we need him if we will still have Guthrie, Karacan, Carrico and Akpan here next season.
