Reading kept up their promotion bid with a 1-0 home win over Blackpool on Tuesday.

It wasn’t pretty but Reading got the job done with Ivar Ingimarsson (27) scoring the only goal of the game just before the half hour mark. Blackpool’s hopes of coming back into the match took a downward turn when Lee Hendrie was sent off soon after.

The visitors saw their manager Simon Grayson banished to the stands and soon after Stephen Hunt passed over the opportunity to secure the points as he missed a penalty, but it didn’t have any bearing on the final outcome in the end.

Do you think that the result was a fair reflection of the match?
