QPR bid for McAnuff?

QPR have been one of the busiest Championship sides in the transfer market this summer and they are rumoured to have bid for Royals winger Jobi McAnuff. The winger only joined last summer from Watford but his impressive season has caught the eye of Neil Warnock, who wants to bring him to Loftus Road.

Sky Sports, reports that we have turned down a £1.5 million bid for the player from QPR, and that they are not the only club interested. Apparantly we will now wait to see if anyone else comes in with a bigger bid.

McAnuff has been one of the most vocal players in the local press this summer and is clearly looking forward to next season at the Madejski Stadium, and I cannot see him wanting to leave for QPR. However he has built up a reputation as a Championship journeyman and at 28 years old, time is running out for him to play in the Premier League. Could he be tempted by the money on offer in West London, and consider them to have a better chance of promotion?

Would McAnuff be a big loss to the Royals? let us know your thoughts below…
