It doesn’t get any easier for Reading with a tough trip to QPR on Tuesday night. After the defeat against West Brom on Saturday the Royals will be out to stop a third consecutive loss but Rangers thumped Preston on Saturday and will be keen to continue their impressive run of form.

Vital Quotes:

It’s another tough game. We’ll go again and be determined to get a result. Our away form has been good. When we’re on our game we’re a match for anyone.

QPR Team News:

QPR will welcome back Ben Watson from suspension, after he missed the 4-0 win over Preston serving a one match ban for his sending off in the defeat at Swansea before the international break. Matthew Connelly and Mikele Liegertwood miss out through illness.

Player to watch: Adel Taarabt

Scored one of the goals of the season against Preston at the weekend, beating 3 players and firing a 25 yard effort into the top corner. If Shaun Cummings thinks he had a hard game up against Jerome Thomas on Saturday then he won’t have seen anything yet if the Moroccan is on fire.

Reading Team News:

Matt Mills and Ryan Bertrand are doubts after injuries forced them off against West Brom but Simon Church could return after missing that game. Brendan Rodgers will make changes to his side and the likes of Gylfi Sigurdsson, Hal Robson Kanu and Shane Long will all hope to start.

Player to watch: Shaun Cummings

Had an awful game on Saturday, and has hardly made the best of starts to his Royals career. He will possibly have his toughest test yet against Taarabt and will need to be right on top of his game to keep the winger quiet.

Match Facts & Stats

The Royals drew 0-0 with QPR in January at Loftus Road, and last seasons fixture at the Madejski also ended goalless.

Match Prediction:

I’ve been positive for the past two games and gone for Reading wins, and we have lost! So in the hope I am wrong again – QPR 2-1 Royals.

Next Fixtures:

Monday 26th October 2009, Leicester (H)
