The Royals make the long trip North to Preston in search of a much needed three points.
They’re all tough games and Preston is notoriously a tough place for any club, but we go there with great motivation to win.
Paul Parry is sidelined with a hamstring tear and the home side will also have to do without Scottish pair Callum Davidson and Barry Nicholson.
Left winger Wallace is a set piece specialist and has pace in abundance, he will give Shaun Cummings a tough evening.
Ivar Ingimarsson’s condition will be assessed before the team is named after he made his long awaited comeback against Watford. Matt Mills stands by, as Alex Pearce misses the trip as he is being rested.
Had an excellent debut on Saturday and will look to continue that on Tuesday evening, and hopefully lay on a couple of goals to give the Royals an away win.
The teams played out a goalless draw back in February with Jon Parkin going closest to scoring with a late header.
This is one of the hardest away games in the Championship, and we rarely get a decent result at Deepdale. I’m afraid that is likely to continue, Preston 2-0 Royals.
