Almost half of the voting population on Vital Reading (49%) believe the team can finish the season in the top half of the Premiership.

Meanwhile 13% belive we can go on to grab a European place and 22% reckon the Royals will be topping the bottom of the table.

8% think the Royals will just avoid relegation while another 8% feel the Royals will still go down, even after such a great start! (Neil Warnock must have been voting a lot!)

The season is long from over and I wouldn’t want to say that any of these outcomes are impossible because we all know that football’s a funny old game.

Lets enjoy what the season has to offer and see what the Berkshire boys can do in their final two games of 2006 and many more from 2007!

Meanwhile please take part in our festive poll:

What would you give Reading for Christmas?

– 9points

– Big name signings in the Xmas window

– Steve Sidwell signing a new contract

– Guaranteed Premiership football next year

id like to think that it was rival fans who voted us relegated, otherwise there are some very pessimistic (or realistic) royals out there!

“We’re all going on a European tour, a European tour, a European tour…”

    What?! I can dream can’t I? Hehe.
