The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Reading and Burton Albion this Saturday.

Reading host Burton Albion on Saturday December 23 for the game at the Madejski Stadium and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: John Brooks
Assistant Refs: John Flynn and Mark Russell
Fourth Official: Andy Davies

Match Day referee Brooks has officiated 25 games in 2017/18 showing 76 yellow cards and four red cards so far.

In 2016/17 he was new to the Football League, having taken charge of 21 games at National League level the season before.

Last season he took in 36 games, showing 150 yellow cards and ten red cards.

He showed nine straight yellow cards in the Bristol Rovers v Gillingham clash, and showed eight yellows and one red on two occasions throughout the season.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
