Irish striker Noel Hunt believes he will be fit to play, as Reading travel to Deepdale to face Preston on Saturday afternoon.
Hunt suffered concussion after heading in the opener in the 3-1 home win over Burnley and admitted that following the blow to the head his memory has been fuzzy in regards to the game.
He said, ‘I should be fine,’ he said. ‘I’ve been taking it easy in training and I will get stuck into it later on in the week.
‘I’m not allowed to head the ball at the moment but I’ll be ok for Preston.
‘I still remember nothing about that Saturday at all. I don’t think I will ever get that back so I just have to get on with it.
‘I’ve seen the video a couple of times. It’s strange because I literally don’t remember it.
‘In a way it’s a good thing I don’t remember it, because people who get hit may tend to pull out of things in the future. But as I don’t remember it, it doesn’t bother me!’
