Liam Moore is fast becoming a fans favourite at the Madejski Stadium, but it appears his fine form isn’t going unnoticed….

The 24-year old, since joining from Leicester last year, has been near-enough an ever present and was been pivotal in our success last season. He has continued his good form into this campaign, even if the our league position doesn’t show it, and has also scored three league goals.

This form has led to rumours circulating that bigger clubs are casting an eye over his progress, as he looks to return to the Premier League. West Ham and Burnley have been mentioned, but the name being thrown about the most is Celtic, who are looking to move in January.

Speaking to GetReading, Moore said: ‘I want to do something with Reading. Rumours are rumours – when the manager was doing great last season there were all sorts of rumours and also with players like Liam Kelly. It happens when you’re doing okay, your name starts getting thrown about.’

‘I’ve made no hidden secret I want to play in the Premier League but I’ve said it from the day I signed I want to do that with Reading. Hopefully we can have that opportunity after coming so close last year. I want to continue doing the best I can and whatever happens, happens.’

Very honest from Moore, who would not look out of place in the Premier League, but it appears he is willing to be patient. We would we silly to sell him, but every player has a price and it would be hard for him to say no to a better opportunity. Time will tell on this one.
