Mills set to stay?

We reported to you yesterday that there was high interest in the centre half from a number of Premier League clubs but recent reports have stated that Royals captain Matt Mills is set to stay at the Madejski Stadium by signing a new contract.

The Sun newspaper has stated that he is set to snub a number of Premier League teams including Swansea, Stoke, Blacburn and Wolves in favour of the Berkshire club.

The former Doncaster man has been quoted that he is just considering it as speculation and its in his interest to stay with the Royals.

Whether this is true remains to be seen but if true it would really reflect this man’s bravery and loyalty on the pitch and proving his loyalty to the club.
