After Saturdays win over Coventry, man of the match Jobi McAnuff was delighted to be back making and scoring goals and put it down to being back on the right side of midfield.

He said of his assist for Grzegorz Rasiak’s first goal, to the Reading Post, “I`ve been playing on the left for most of the season, but in the last couple of games I`ve been switched to the right which is my stronger foot as well. Grzegorz is a great target-man to play with and you just have to get the ball up to him as much as you can. We know we`ve got the ability, it`s just about going out there and doing it all on a regular basis.”

The former Watford man is now keen for the Royals to build on Saturdays win at the Ricoh Arena, starting next weekend at home to Ipswich. ‘The home form is a bit of an issue, it`s important to get that one sorted and next Saturday against Ipswich will be a massive game for us.’

Roy Keane’s men come to the Madejski Stadium on the back of their first win of the season on Saturday and will also be in desperate need of putting a run of results together.
