The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Bristol City on Monday.

Reading travel to Bristol City on Monday January 2 for the game at Ashton Gate and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Roger East
Linesmen: Derek Eaton and Dan Cook
Fourth Official: Brendan Malone

Match Day referee East has taken in 16 games so far in 2016/17 with a return of 69 yellow cards and five red cards.

His highest card count this season was eight yellow cards in the Oxford v Millwall match. He also showed seven yellows in the game between Scunthorpe United and Millwall, and six yellows and one red in the Cardiff City v Brighton encounter.

He took charge of 39 matches last season and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 119 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Brighton and Sheffield Wednesday in May with a total of eight yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
