With Brendan Rodgers appearing to prefer Simon Church as his loan striker, Shane Long fired a timely reminder to his new manager.
Long started upfront in a 4-3-3 formation and grabbed two goals in each half as the Royals ran riot in Sweden again.
Rodgers gave a run out to those that didn’t play on Thursday night, and the side again had a mix of youth and experience. David Mooney and Gylfi Siggurdsson could both have added to the scoreline but we had to settle for just the four goals.
