Reading midfielder Lawson D’Ath has extended his loan spell at Yeovil until the end of the season.

The 19-year old has made a good impression on loan at the League One outfit, making ten appearances for Gary Johnson’s side. Lawson even scored his first goal in professional football in Yeovil’s 3-2 victory over Colchester United at Huish Park.

Glovers boss Gary Johnson told This Is Somerset: ‘We are really pleased that Lawson has taken up our offer to stay here until the end of the season. I think he has a fantastic future and whislt helping us, we are really pleased to help him on the pathway to Premier League stardom.’

The Oxford-born playmaker is very highly rated at the Madejski Stadium, having a superb record for the reserves last season where he scored nearly 20 goals in the campaign. D’Ath also made his first appearance for the Royals as a substitute in their FA Cup loss to Stevenage in January.
