It has been revealed that Alex McCarthy should be fit for this weekend’s game against Millwall.

The 23-year old missed his first league game of the season against Doncaster through injury, but after speaking to BBC Radio Berkshire, revealed that his knee problem should be fixed by this weekend’s visit of Millwall.

Adam Federici deputised in McCarthy’s absence and it’s fair to say the Australian had a very solid game. If it comes to Saturday and McCarthy maybe isn’t 100%, I would have no problem Adkins putting in Feders again, rather than risking Macca for further injury.
