Reading winger Jimmy Kebe could be fit for Reading’s game in two weeks time against Eddie Howe’s Burnley team at Turf Moor.

Kebe was forced off in our 2-0 win over Doncaster last month and has not featured since. McDermott told the official RFC site: ‘He needs to train and get back, he’ll be back in a couple of weeks.’

The Malian has been suffering from a knee problem which has caused him to miss the last three games for the Royals, with Noel Hunt and Hal Robson-Kanu occupying his space.

The winger’s contract situation has also come into question in recent months with Kebe rejecting an offer in early September from the Reading board.

However, he could agree a deal over the next few months, with his current deal scheduled to run out at the end of this current season.
