The biggest success out of our international players came for midfielder Mikele Leigertwood and his country Antigua and Barbuda as they qualified for the next phase of World Cup qualifying.

The 29-year old who celebrated his birthday yesterday, will now face the likes of USA and Jamaica as they will fight to have a place in the Qatar World Cup in 2014.

Winger Hal Robson-Kanu came on with 15 minutes to go as Wales thrashed Norway 4-1 at the Cardiff City Stadium. He played a crucial part in the last goal by putting the right back under pressure, forcing a mistake and eventually Vokes scoring.

However, striker Simon Church did not make the final squad due to an injury picked up while training with the Welsh squad. Young Welshman Jake Taylor is set to play Tuesday night for Wales U21s.

Goalkeeper Adam Federici was an unused substitute for Australia as they lost 1-0 to Oman. Bongani Khumalo was not fit enough to play for South Africa.
