Some Royals players were involved in their respective countries international friendlies tonight.

New signing Bongani Khunalo come on at half-time during South Africa’s 3-0 win over Burkina Faso, playing his part in his countries victory.

Wales and Australia faced off at the Cardiff City stadium but Hal Robson-Kanu and Adam Federici were both unused substitutes in the match that saw Australia win 2-1. Simon Church wasn’t selected in the squad due to his thigh injury.

Young midfielder Jake Taylor played for Wales U21s as they fell to Hungary 2-1. Jake is currently on loan at Aldershot.

Young Irishman David Murphy played 45 minutes for Ireland U19s as they lost 3-0 to Serbia.

Both Federici and HRK will be back in training on Thursday while the club have allowed Khumalo an extra day return, so he will be back in training on Friday.
