Reading youth defender Michael Hector has extended his loan spell at League Two outfit Barnet by another month, meaning it will due to end on 2nd January.

The 19-year has made four appearances for the Bee’s, gaining notable praise from former Royal and Barnet boss Lawrie Sanchez, who has been impressed with the defenders progress.

The defence has been shown to some improvement since Hector’s arrival, just conceding three goals. He is also playing alongside Reading striker Cedric Baseya who made his loan move to Underhill a few weeks ago.
