Nicky Forster hopes his return to the Madejski Stadium in Ipswich colours will be a happy one. The 32 year old striker, who scored 67 goals for us in a six year period, is hoping for a good reception.
‘I received lots of good luck letters from Reading fans when I joined Ipswich and that was very nice. Players do come and go in this game and for someone to stay at one club for six years is quite a long time these days.’
Adding: ‘But I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Reading and got on well with the fans, so I hope that is shown on Sunday. I hope to get a nice reception, I gave my all for Reading and I hope there is a mutual appreciation from the supporters – there certainly is from my side.’
