Reading’s home game this Saturday with West Ham United has been confirmed as a sell-out. This is the first sell-out at the Madejski Stadium since the play-off semi-final first leg against Cardiff last May.

The Royals have sold their 24,000 tickets while the Hammers sold their 4,200 several weeks back which will mean a fantastic atmosphere at the Madejski Stadium this coming Saturday.

Games between these two sides have produced some memorable occasions for both sets of supporters. The most notable coming in January 2007 as Reading demolished Alan Curbishley’s West Ham by six goals.

The Hammers currently find themselves second in the Championship table following their loss at home to Burnley last Saturday. However, the Hammers have the best away form in the league winning seven of their ten away games, conceding just five goals.
