Doyle Eyes Record

Reading need just four points from their remaining two league fixtures to beat Sunderland?s record points haul and Kevin Doyle believes it can be done.

The Royals went through 100 points when they swept aside Stoke City on Monday in a 3-1 victory that saw Coppell make six changes to the side that drew at Leeds

Reading have a game at Sheffield Wednesday coming up and then finish the season off with a home game against Queens Park Rangers, four points from the two games would put them on 106 points, one more than Sunderland?s record.

Doyle told the Evening Post: ?The record amount of points is definitely still on. One draw and a win will do and if we keep playing the way we are we?ll do it.

?Sheffield Wednesday are now safe so the pressure is off them. It would also be great to score 100 goals. Four goals in two games can be done. We?ve been scoring all season and it would be a great way to finish the season.?
