The Royals travel to Doncaster looking to continue our good run of form.
We have won our last 2 games at the Keepmoat Stadium, and beat Donny 4-3 earlier in the season after being 3-1 down.
A full match preview is here…
Brian McDermott on Shaun Cummings –
‘Shaun is learning every day and if Andy Griffin isn`t fit it`s not a problem for me to put Shaun straight into the team now.’
Captain Matt Mills on his return to Doncaster –
If we can go up there and do the double that will be perfect. It gives us confidence to know that we can beat the team that we`re playing against. Obviously I know a bit about them and they are a decent side.’
Doncaster will be without captain Brian Stock who is still suffering with a back problem.
Dennis Souza will return after suspension but they will again be without Shelton Martis and Wayne Thomas.
The former Sheff Utd striker is back from injury and scoring goals once more. He will be a handful for the Royals defence.
Andy Griffin is set to return at right back, meaning Shaun Cummings will drop down to the bench again despite his good display against West Brom.
Shane Long has shaken off a knock picked up in the same game but Zurab Kizhanishvili is still struggling with a knee strain.
Can consider himself lucky to regain his place for this one after a fine display from Shaun Cummings last weekend. Has not lived upto the high standards that he set on loan last season so will need to improve to keep Cummings out long term.
Saturday 30th October 2010, Reading 4-3 Doncaster
I am backing us to nick this one, 2-1 with Long scoring twice.
Saturday 22nd January 2010, Hull (H)
