Crawley striker Matt Tubbs has been linked with a potential move to the Championship, with Reading reportedly one of the clubs interested.

The Salisbury-born striker has hit 37 goals in 41 appearances for the Red Devils, helping them gain promotion into the Football League and reach the fifth round of the FA Cup last season.

Tubbs could possibly be lined up as a potential replacement for Shane Long, who is looking increasingly likely to leave the club, with West Brom being his likely destination.

Talk Sport have reported that Championship duo Millwall and Watford are also keen on the England C international.

37 in 41 – no argument that the guy knows where the goal is. With the right service, he could prove to be a very useful addition/possible Long replacement

True but stepping up 2 leagues in a massive ask considering he has spent the majority of his career in the conference. He obviously has the goal scoring ability but he may not have the physical demand to physically get involved in the Championship.
