Reading manager Steve Coppell?s achievements for the season have been noted, he has been named the League Managers’ Association Manager of the Season.

It?s been a season of records for Reading under the leadership of Coppell, he guided he side to the Premiership having only lost two games all season, went on a 33 game unbeaten run and beat the highest ever points haul for the second tier by one point reaching 106, 16 points ahead of second placed Sheffield United.

Coppell beat the Premiership managers to the award, even Jose Mourinho who won the Premier League with Chelsea for the second season running.
