Can we Claim Back to Back Wins?

Today’s game at the Madejski Stadium is one with massive stakes. Two teams in the relegation zone; three points would be massive for both clubs. Reading of course are looking to gather more momentum and win two games in a row for the first time this season, whereas counterparts Ipswich will be looking to get their first win under new manager Paul Lambert.

Reading will be hoping that Yakou Meite can get over an ankle injury he suffered in the previous game against Bristol City. The Ivorian has scored five goals in all competitions for the Royals this season and it’s safe to say when he plays he does make a difference for us.

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson will not see any action for the foreseeable future as his back injury has ruled him out for roughly six weeks. Anssi Jaakola has been improving in his bid to return to full fitness but looks likely to miss out today.

Ipswich have no new injury news to speak of, so Paul Lambert has a full squad to pick from, bar long-term absentees Jon Nolan and Grant Ward.
