Its busy midweek of international games this week and a number of Royals will be in action for their nations. At full international level, Simon Church is set to lead the line for Wales in the absence of captain Craig Bellamy, against Sweden. The Man City striker has pulled out of the friendly to rest a long standing knee injury so Church is sire to start.

On loan Zurab Kizhanishvili is also in action, travelling to his home country Georgia for a friendly with Estonia. He will once again captain his nation and win his 69th cap.

Shane Long, who has now served his 4 match club ban, will also be involved for the Republic of Ireland against Brazil. The match will be played at the Emirates Stadium and the Royals striker stands a good chance of being involved, especially as Celtic’s Robbie Keane has been ruled out with injury.

Ryan Bertrand and Alex McCarthy are in the England under 21 squad for a qualifier with Greece. Scott Davies, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Mikkel Andersson will also be involved in under 21 games across Europe.
