Bozanic signs new deal at Reading

The young midfielder joined the club in January 2007 but has rarely featured for the first team other than the odd appearance on the bench in the Carling Cup.

Despite this he was offered a new one year contract, after a succesful loan spell at Conference side Woking last season, where he made 18 appearances, scoring 2 goals. After returning to pre season training on Monday, he completed the formalities and is looking forward to working with new manager Brendan Rodgers.

He told the official website, ‘This new contract is really great, I am very excited, especially with a new manager coming in. These are exciting times and I can’t wait for the season to start. We all met him on Monday, he’s a very nice manager, very straightforward and I’m excited to work with him. Hopefully I will be able to get a chance and he seems like a more technical manager.’
