Metz midfielder, Daniel Bocande took part in Reading`s behind closed doors game with Charlton on Tuesday night.

The Senegalese international, in fact played the full 90minutes of the friendly and continues to train with the club.

The 23 year-old has not featured a lot in Metz`s line up this season; he has played just once for the French league 2 leaders and is desperate to to land a transfer to Reading.

Meanwhile, Dave Kitson, Aaron Brown and Bobby Convey all played in the behind closed doors match.

Kitson completed 75 minutes of the game and is looking a lot sharper even managing to net the first goal in a two-nil victory.

Bobby Convey completed the full 90minutes of play while Aaron Brown featured for the first time since breaking his ankle in the 9-1 pre-season victoy over Didcot Town.

John Halls was also featured in the line-up, it was the first time he has played competitive football since recovering from his injury and Simon Cox played for the first time since returning on loan from Brentford. Adam Federici took his places between the sticks while the rest of the team consisted of Bikey, Sodje, and Seol, while Curtis Osano and Davies came on as substitutes.

John Oster completed the line up and was the scorer of the second goal, against what is considered to be a strong Charlton team.

It’s good to see Convey and Kitson making progress on their fitness, with the latter scoring his first goal since August. Hopefully they’ll both be ready for first team selection soon.

would be nice to see them both back in the side come saturday, with only a draw at everton it may give coppell license enough to tweek the team, and doyles injury means a vacant spot upfront!!
