Long suffering Royals fans will again turn up at the Mad Stad, more in hope than expectation of a home win! A full match preview is here….

Vital Quotes: Adam Federici

We’ve picked up a little bit in recent weeks and found the right team and formation and it seems to be clicking together nicely so I think its a great oppurtunity for everyone to go out there and continue our form.

Reading Team News:

Brendan Rodgers is set to keep the same starting 11 that drew with Ipswich last time out, but Shane Long has failed to recover from a ankle injury and won’t be fit enough to take his place on the bench. Apart from the Irishman’s knock, there are no new injury concerns.

Player to watch: Jobi McAnuff

McAnuff has praised the fitness work that Brendan Rodgers has put them through during the international break and he should be fit to tear the Blackpool defence to pieces!

Blackpool Team News:

Hamuer Bouazza is with the Algerian national squad celebrating their World Cup qualification, so former Watford player Al Bangura could start. Brett Ormerod and Jason Euell are pushing for starts but apart Bouazza, manager Ian Holloway is unlikely to make changes from the side that beat Scunthorpe last time out.

Player to watch: Charlie Adam

Former Rangers man Adam has been one of the Championship players of the season so far following his summer move from Ibrox. His passing ability and long range shooting is sure to cause the Royals the biggest threat on Saturday.

Last Meeting

13th April 2009 Blackpool 2-2 Reading.

Match Prediction:

I just can’t predict a home win but am sure we can take a point and will go for another 1-1 draw.

Next Fixture:

Saturday November 28th 2009, Derby (A)
