Striker Nicholas Bignall has followed Marcus Williams out of the door at the Madejski Stadium, on a temporary basis, when he joined Bournemouth on a months loan.
The striker will join up with his new team mates ahead of their home game against Walsall on Saturday, and could go straight into the starting line up.
He was wanted back at Southampton where he enjoyed a similar spell last month, but he was only a substitute at St Marys so the Royals opted to send him to Dean Court for first team football.
