Another Two go out on Loan

Reading have allowed another two of the promising youngsters coming through the ranks to go out on loan, both going to Bournemouth.

James Henry, a winger who has been scoring plenty of goals in the reserves, is getting very close to a first team break through and made his Reading debut against Liverpool this season as a substitute in the Carling Cup. He has been allowed to go out on an initial month long loan, having spent a month with Nottingham Forest last season.

Joining him, also on an initial one-month loan, will be reserve skipper Alex Pearce, who is also in good goalscoring form this season. He has two Reading appearances to his name, and spent a long spell with Northampton last season. The pair join young Turkish star in the making Jem Karacan, who was already on loan with Bournemouth.

With reserve fixtures this side of Christmas few and far between sending them out on loan to probably gain more football, and first team football at that, than they would otherwise makes a lot of sense, and all three played in their 2-0 win on Saturday with Henry scoring both goals.

Very good experience for all three, and what a way for James Henry to start with two goals, one a fine solo effort by all accounts.

James Henry settled in right away with two on his debut. There is some talk that Tottenham are interested in him as well.
